Hey folks,
It’s been a minute — and I'm not going to do a big "I'm back" thing. What I will say is: this newsletter is shifting to Mondays now, and I'm building a system to actually keep it consistent. More on that soon.
For now, let's talk about the thing that's been on my mind all week.

Free, private email that puts your privacy first
A private inbox doesn’t have to come with a price tag—or a catch. Proton Mail’s free plan gives you the privacy and security you expect, without selling your data or showing you ads.
Built by scientists and privacy advocates, Proton Mail uses end-to-end encryption to keep your conversations secure. No scanning. No targeting. No creepy promotions.
With Proton, you’re not the product — you’re in control.
Start for free. Upgrade anytime. Stay private always.

your content isn't a portfolio. it's a positioning tool.
So here's something I keep seeing — people posting content that's basically a highlight reel. Look what I did, look what I know, here's my experience laid out in paragraph form. And it never really lands the way they want it to.
But the people actually building careers from their content are playing a different game. They're making sure they come to mind when the right opportunity shows up — before the job gets posted, before the speaking slot opens, before someone pitches a collab.
I think of it as positioning versus performing. Performing is posting your resume, but prettier. Positioning is being specific about what you want to be known for, and then showing up around that thing enough that people start associating you with it.
And you don't need to post every day to do this. You just need the stuff you do post to point in the same direction.
Here's a gut check: scroll through your last 10 posts. Could someone who doesn't know you tell what you want to be known for? If the answer is "not really," that's probably a bigger issue than how often you're posting or how many people are seeing it.
Next week, I'll share a simple 3-post system that makes this way easier to actually do — without it eating your whole schedule.
Talk soon,
Tamilore
